Stay Social This #NYFW: A Must-follow Instagram List by SNOWMAN

Fashion week is quickly approaching, and we know that the catwalk is covered in upcoming spring trends and couture.  We also know that you cannot be front row at all your favorite shows.  What is happening behind the scenes can be your ticket to fashion week success.  Through the ever-popular social media sphere, we can all keep up with what magic unfolds this September.  What is the best social media outlet to see what’s up?  Instagram, of course.  Feel as though you are at the runway show the instant a new look strolls past.  SNOWMAN lets you in on the best kept list of trendy Instagrammers.  NYFW is about more than just clothes; its about both the fashion and the fashionable.  We invite you to watch Fashion Week through the lens of these fashionistas when your own stylish self cannot attend.

SNOWMAN brings you 7 Instagram accounts that will keep you in the loop throughout the festivities.  They are also sure to insert some comic relief from posh glamour of the week.

One of the best perspectives for Fashion week? Jacquelyn Jablonski.  @jacquelynjablonski brings you the point of view of the model.  She balances editorial glamour with a clear portrayal of backstage chaos (and lots of golden selfies).  This Instagram is a great balance and delivers a unique fashion week perspective – from a true insider.  A less personal perspective comes in the form of T Magazine. @tmagazine brings you the big picture ideas from the week.  By following this Instagram, you will get an overview of who showed which themes on the runway.  This is one of the most informative Instagram choices for fashion addicts.

Another great account, @facehunter, focuses on what the trendsetters are wearing.  This Instagram will not necessarily focus on the show’s activity, but rather what those in attendance are wearing.
Two no-brainers are Rachel Zoe (@rachelzoe) and The Coveteur (@thecoveteur).  Rachel Zoe is a household name.  This celebrity stylist has become a celebrity herself through her ever-growing empire.  She is one of the most inside insiders, a trendsetter and trend-crafter.  While The Coveteur is not as much of a household name, this is one of the most comprehensive fashion blogs out there.  They have connections to take you behind the scenes while still giving readers a personal take on the fashion happenings each season.  A different twist can be seen through Pat McGrath’s Instagram (@patmcgrathreal).  Pat is an international make-up artist and Creative Design Director of P&G Beauty.  This is an incredibly well executed Instagram with a definitive eye for design at the helm.

Last but not least, Stella Bugbee is a great account to follow.  As the Editorial Director of The Cut, she means business.  Her Instagram is no exception; she will be comprehensive in her documentation of NYFW.

Whether you are following models, editors, bloggers, or stylists, make sure to stay in the loop this Fashion Week.  There is a lot in store – especially for SNOWMAN.  So be on the lookout on the @snowmannewyork Instagram for updates on what’s in store for SS15 outerwear.
