Very tailored, Military-inspired accessories - complete with patches, gold accessories, and various vintage accoutrements - are in this season. Think chic hats and classic detailing. Clean lines in black and white contrasting color-block is sure to win points this season. Try the sleek Mistress or Mage to create this look. Do you prefer a more layered, grungy look? Well you are in luck! Grunge has certainly not left the Fall 2014 stage. And just because SNOWMAN’s aesthetic doesn’t scream alternative grunge, doesn’t mean that these looks can’t be created from a SNOWMAN pairing. We have plenty of edgy looks from which to choose. For instance, the Trooper, with its zipper detailing Chunky boots and rugged jeans are holding their own alongside classier style counterparts. This fall’s grunge theme has been referenced as the “Outsiders” trend by many fashion experts, alluding to strong, outdoor-loving independence at the source of these looks. Think about embracing the roots of counter-culture style with loose fits and asymmetry.

Winter white is all the fashion this 2014 season. Every New Yorker has to sport his or her all black ensembles from time to time, but why not mix it up with some all white? Take a SNOWMAN look in City Snow, like the Teddy or the Crown, and pair it with some winter white jeans or tunic.

What are the must-haves to go with your SNOWMAN jackets? We’ve highlighted a few that are perfect for the season’s chill and style. Every girl needs a cozy knit this season. Simple, speckled patterned knits are particularly trendy. Thin knits are great to layer under your down outerwear, and add texture to every outfit. The mod boot will give you an updated look as well. It is time to move on past last season’s worn out boots. We know that the one winter accessory you need almost as much as your SNOWMAN down jacket is a pair of reliable boots. This season shorter boots with a small, chunky heel are in style. Try a pair of pull-on booties.

They will keep up with your on-the-go lifestyle just like SNOWMAN. Although we thought this trend was off the scene, it looks like vintage t-shirts are still in style. Perhaps leave some of the clichéd logos and ironic slogans aside, but embrace some easy cotton t-shirts in luxurious fabrics, soft to the touch. Leather skirts are a great new trend to hit the scene as well. We are not talking about revealing pleather minis, but instead the tasteful, 70’s-inspired knee-length skirts. With this item, you achieve the perfect mix of classic and edgy this fall – a timeless, a-line made from chic luxurious material. Take your timeless SNOWMAN coats and style them for the season. Let us know how you plan to style your #snowmannewyork outerwear this fall!
